Today we analyzed 2 news channels, TV1 and Te Karere. Overall we found that TV1 generally had sad or violent stories about people being murderer, dying,terrorist attacks and civil unrest. Whereas, Te Karere had more feel good stories about good changes to governments policies and people overcoming life's adversities to become successful. Also TV1 went really quickly over each story just highlighting things compared to Te Karere which spent more time on a story and gave more backstory to what they were telling us about.
